视频显示两辆汽车掉入圣劳伦斯河 迅速沉没

社交媒体上的一段视频显示，在蒙特利尔南部的一场赛车比赛中，两辆汽车从圣劳伦斯河的冰层中沉没。
这起事件发生在Kahnawak冰上赛车系列赛期间。
其中一辆掉入冰河的汽车行车记录仪拍摄的画面显示了事故发生的经过。
在比赛进行到一半时，可以看到两辆汽车从破裂的冰层下沉没。
幸好的是，两辆汽车的司机均能够迅决逃离，避免悲剧发生。
冰上赛车活动的主席布赖尔劳伦斯(Bryar Lawrence)在脸书表示事故没有造成任何伤亡。他说：“我们都知道踏上冰面就要冒着风险，每个人都明白这项运动伴随着的风险。”
劳伦斯说团队第二天返回现场取回沉没的汽车。
参加了比赛的车手怀特(Derek White)说他参加这项赛事已经35年，从未见过这样的事情。
怀特说，冰的厚度不是造成事故的原因。
怀特说比赛中使用的汽车很重，每辆重约5千磅。他认为汽车的距离很贴近可能是造成事故的原因。
