魁省新学年将不强制学生戴口罩

魁省教育部确认，若疫情情况保持不变，那么在新学年将不会强制学生戴口罩。
教育部新闻专员 Audrey Noiseux 说，自 5 月 14 日以来不再强制学生及学校雇员戴口罩，而是让大家自行决定。
然而，魁省公共卫生总监 Luc Boileau 医生上周警告说，第七波疫情虽然逐渐减弱，仍然需要非常谨慎。据他表示，学生重返学校后有可能掀起新一轮的感染，这是大流行开始以来经常发生的情况。
魁省新的疫苗接种活动将于 8 月 15 日启动，长期护理院（ CHSLD ）、私人老人住宅 (RPA) 或其他相同场所的住客将率先获接种。省长勒戈刚于上周五接受第四剂疫苗。
无论如何，许多专家敦促政府谨慎行事，在学校课室等封闭场所重新要求学生戴口罩。流行病学家 Nimâ Machouf 认为这是一项可以轻松坚持的持久措施。
