“我可能成为下一个受害者” 魁省拉瓦尔居民集会抗议枪械暴力

魁省拉瓦尔（ Laval ）居民周六（ 5 日）集会抗议枪械暴力升级，呼吁街头和平。
抗议者聚集在 Raymond-Fortin 社区中心，举起写着“反对暴力”和“我可能成为下一个受害者吗？”等字样的标语。
拉瓦尔最近几周发生了连串枪击事件。一名男子日前在一家客满的餐厅内被枪杀，警方表示该事件可能与黑帮有关。
5 月的一起枪击案发生在距离一所小学仅几步之遥，尽管没有人受伤，已经令社区感到不安。
在 5 月的另一起事件中，一名 28 岁男子在一次驾车射击中丧生，他 14 岁的侄儿则受重伤。
当地居民 Lynn Lauzon 说事件敲响了警钟。她说：“我们都是有小孩的家庭，我们需要安全。”
另一名参与抗议的 Lucie Lanthier 亦表示：“我们要公开发声确保得到帮助。”
犯罪学家 Maria Mourani 指出，街头帮派使用的非法枪支一般是从美国走私输入。
Mourani 说犯罪分子变得越来越无耻，就算是靠近学校还是在拥挤的餐厅内，他们照样开枪。她说：“他们完全没有顾虑地点，也不理会是否在繁忙时段。”
