大卡车轻轨铁路桥底起火 香槟桥交通大堵塞

一辆重型卡车周五(16日)清晨在蒙特利尔15号高速公路上起火，造成轻轨铁路桥底部分被烧焦，而且导致香槟桥(pont Samuel-De Champlain)大塞车。
大火在香槟桥出口附近的轻轨铁路桥底下燃烧了三个小时，30名消防员到场灭火。
省警暂时无法确认起火原因，但表示卡车没有运载危险品，司机幸没有受伤。
火警导致Bonaventure公路和 Gaétan Laberge街之间的 15 号高速公路北行路段关闭，香槟桥因此在周五早上大塞车，到早上10点15分时依然挤塞。
轻轨工程师正在检查大桥结构以评估损坏程度，初步相信并不严重。
开发商CDPQ-Infra表示检查目的是首先确认高速公路交通可以恢复重开。其次，确定修女岛和中央车站(Gare Centrale )之间的轻轨试车能否继续进行。
最初计划于今年春季通车的轻轨，官员们在上月表示轻轨第一阶段通车已推迟到夏季。
