卑诗港口劳资双方达成协议 劳工及交通部长发表联合声明

加拿大劳工部长奥雷根（Seamus O’Regan Jr.）和交通部长艾诚致（Omar Alghabra）周四 (13 日 ) 就卑诗省海事雇主协会(BCMEA)与国际码头和仓库工会(ILWU)加拿大之间的集体谈判发表如下声明：
“太平洋夏令时10:20，奥雷根部长收到通知，指BCMEA和ILWU均已接受联邦调解员的和解条款。双方已达成初步协议。双方正在敲定港口复工的细节。
我们感谢工会和雇主方对集体谈判程序的承诺，感谢联邦调解员在支持有关各方谈判并提出成功解决方案方面发挥的关键作用。
这种中断所造成的冲击规模是巨大的。其程度凸显了工业界和劳工界之间的关系对我们的国家利益有多么重要。我们的供应链和国民经济都有赖于此。我们不想再次回到这里。有关各方留在集体谈判桌上，达成此类协议，是防止这种情况发生的最佳方法。这也是保持加拿大经济长期稳定的最佳方式。我们不想再回到这里。”
