魁北克连同联邦私隐监管机构对TikTok展开调查

加拿大私隐专员公署周四(23日)表示，正对中国字节跳动旗下影片分享应用程式TikTok（抖音海外版）进行联邦及省级联合调查，理由是忧虑TikTok会收集、使用及披露用户个人资料，并提供予中国。
继美国针对TikTok表示其存在安全风险后，加拿大亦表示跟随。加拿大私隐专员公署23日发声明称，联邦私隐监管机构联同魁北克省、卑诗省及阿省的省级监管机构将审查TikTok是否符合加拿大私隐法，重点审查Tiktok对个人资料的收集、使用及披露，有否获得用户有效同意。
TikTok 发言人表示，用户私隐、安全始终是至为重要，今次调查为公司带来一个澄清事实、说明如何保护加拿大人私隐的机会。
