修正案若危及医疗英语服务 魁省卫生部长扬言愿意放弃

魁省卫生部长杜贝 (Christian Dubé) 周五(1日)承认，他没有完全注意到第15号法案的一项颇具争议的修正案允许 Santé Québec 剥夺各机构提供英语服务的义务，这可能会对社区服务产生影响。
但杜贝表示，如果他认为服务会受到侵蚀，他准备修改或放弃修正案。
杜贝对记者说他不清楚有关该修正案的争议。 “当我得到答案时，我会把它给你。”
他重申大家可以在医院得到英语服务的承诺不会改变。
第15号法案在最后一刻出人意料的修正案引发轩然大波，其中该法案创建了一个新机构Santé Québec来管理卫生系统的日常运作。
该修正案于11月23日提出并于周二晚进行辩论，该修正案将赋予Santé Québec 權力 撤销医疗机构提供英语服务。
魁北克省约有50家此类机构符合资格，因为 他們的 大多数用户使用的语言不是法语。
