迁离人数偏高 蒙特利尔岛人口仅有轻微增长

魁北克统计研究所 (ISQ) 周三(11日)发表报告说，蒙特利尔岛人口在2021年7月1日至 2022年7月1日期间，增加了 1.4万人。
蒙特利尔岛人口只有轻微增长，很大程度是因为蒙特利尔岛在以上期间录得 34,500人迁往魁省其他地区，这是自 2001 年开始收集相关统计数据以来的其中一个最大人数纪录。
尽管如此，若与2020年至2021年间迁离蒙特利尔岛的纪录48,300人相比，已经有所改善。
在新冠疫情期间人口增长放缓的其他地区有魁北克市、Outaouais、拉瓦尔(Laval)和蒙特雷吉(Montérégie)。
Lanaudière、Laurentians 和 Eastern Townships 等地区在 2021-2022 年录得强劲人口增长，但仍然低于前一年的增长。
人口增长率最高的是 Mauricie 和 Chaudière-Appalaches 区。
ISQ 的报告说，唯一在 2021-2022 年出现人口净流失的是北部地区Côte-Nord。
