魁省12 至 17 岁青少年 可接種疫苗加強劑

公共卫生总监布瓦洛医生(Dr. Luc Boileau)周三(24日)在新闻发布会表示，父母在新学年送孩子上学时应该不用担心新冠疫情。
他解释说，尽管预计感染人数在未来数月激增，但大多数学龄儿童对病毒已经有一定程度的免疫力。
魁省目前所有 6 个月以上人士均合资格接种新冠疫苗。
接受过两剂疫苗的 12 至 17 岁青少年，现在起可以接种加强剂；到下周中旬，5 至 11 岁的青少年同样能够接种加强剂。
卫生部的数据显示，目前67%的5至11岁儿童至少接种过一剂疫苗。
当局并声称所有的12至17岁青少年接种了疫苗。
卫生官员并对新面世的「二价」疫苗寄以厚望。布瓦洛说它应该会在两星期内供应。
