魁市韩国餐厅缺乏法语遭受恐吓 关闭餐房

魁北克市韩国餐厅 Bab Sang尽 管仅开张了几个月，但可能很快就要 完全 关闭。
餐厅老板说： “ 我在认真考虑把餐厅搬到蒙特利尔或渥太华。 ”
本周早些时候， Le Soleil 的一篇文章揭露该餐厅缺乏法语服务后，使到这家韩国餐馆遭到强烈反对。
据报导，该家餐厅的服务员不会说法语，菜单上的菜名都是英文的。
Bab Sang 的老板说，自从这篇文章发表以来，他接到了恐吓电话。出于这个原因，他要求名字保密。
“ 魁北克市的大多数人真的很温柔、善良，但有些人不喜欢我， ” 他说。
他已经关闭了餐厅的餐房，以免受到骚扰。 “ 我现在需要保护我的员工。 ”
魁北克的语言法例规定，包括餐厅顾客在内的所有消费者都有权获得法语服务。
该餐厅老板打算在雇用说法语的员工后再次开门 —— 但这个过程并不容易，因为劳动力短缺使到难以寻找雇员。
老板还表达了融入魁北克市社区的愿望。 “ 我们来这里不是为了破坏他们的文化， “ 我们喜欢魁北克市，我们想一起成为魁北克人。 ”
但现在由于强烈反对，他可能无法坚持有足够时间来学习法语。
