蒙特利尔市长获蒙大颁发荣誉学位

蒙特利尔市长普兰特（Valérie Plante）获蒙特利尔大学（UdeM）持续教育学院（FEP）颁发荣誉学位。普兰特早前已经获得蒙大三个学位，分别为人类学学士学位，博物馆学硕士学位和多种族环境干预证书，是该荣誉学位的首位获得者。
蒙大校长Daniel Jutras 说，FEP 设立这个奖项是为了“表彰其毕业生对社会进步的模范贡献” 。他说普兰特2017 年成为蒙特利尔首位女市长，创造了历史。 “但最重要是她体现了所有 FEP 学生共有的品质，就是大胆。”
普兰特在她的荣誉学位照片中，她亲笔感谢蒙大说：“感谢你们给与的荣誉，我对自己毕业于全国最好的法语大学感到自豪。”
普兰特说：“像许多蒙特利尔人一样，这所大学让我加深了我的知识，并指导我一生的价值观。我的政治生涯所特有的好奇心、包容性、机会平等和跳出框框思考的勇气，植根于我在蒙特利尔大学的旅程。”
