贾斯廷汀·杜鲁多总理今天就感恩节发表如下声明：
“今天（10月10日），全国各地的加拿大人都在与亲友相聚，庆祝感恩节，并感谢过去一年中的赐福。
“感恩节是一个庆祝丰收季节的日子。这是一个彼此共济的机会，也是感谢那些为我们的生活做出贡献之人的机会。
“在过去的两年里，人们都在彼此相互支撑。在我们从疫情大流行中复苏的时期，我们衷心感谢无数的志愿者、食品银行和慈善机构，他们伸出援手，帮助营造一个更美好的世界。我们也感谢我们的日常英雄们，从医疗护理人员到加拿大武装部队军人和人道援助工作者，他们都献身于服务公众，并帮助改变我们的世界，使之更加美好。
“苏菲和我谨代表加拿大政府，祝愿大家感恩节快乐，愿您的这一天充满挚爱亲朋的陪伴、幸福和平安。”
