魁北克重型卡车司机将被强制接受电子监控

从4月30日开始，魁北克重型卡车司机将强制使用电子记录器 (ELD)，以监控他们在路上和休息时花费的时间。
魁北克交通部长吉尔伯特(Geneviève Guilbault)表示，该科技将降低司机过度疲劳的风险，并提高道路的安全性。
ELD将连接到车辆的发动机，并自动记录与重型车辆司机的驾驶时间和休息时间相关的所有信息。自 1 月 1 日起，加拿大多个省份和地区都已经使用该设备。
魁北克的法规要求配备 ELD 的车辆的司机，必须保留过去14天的日常活动日志，并要求公司将每个司机的日志保存至少六个月。
