突发！担心通胀不受控 加拿大央行宣布加息0.25%

由于经济比预期炽热，加拿大央行周三(7日)宣布将其主要利率上调 25 个基点，结束了三个月的加息暂停。
此次上调使央行的基准利率达到4.75%，为2007年大衰退前的最高水平。
近数星期的几项指标显示加拿大经济出乎意料地出现反弹。央行在其利率决定的声明中表示：“总体而言，经济中的过度需求看起来比预期更持久。”
央行声称证据显示，货币政策不足以恢复供需平衡，并使通胀率可持续地回到 2% 的目标，因此决定提高利率。
今年第一季度，因为家庭支出依然强劲，加拿大经济增长 3.1%，超出分析师和加拿大央行的预期。通货膨胀率在4月份也有所上升，增长4.4%，这是自2022年6月以来的首次加速。
加拿大央行自 3 月以来一直保持其关键利率不变，当时它成为全球第一家暂停加息的主要央行。然而，央行一再表示，如果有需要便会进一步提高利率，以使通货膨胀率回到其2% 的目标。
