加国合资格人士7月可获一次性食品杂货退税

加拿大财政部表示，将于7月5日为符合资格的加拿大人提供食品杂货退税，是次退税可纾缓1100万中低收入家庭的通货膨胀压力。
新的一次性“食品杂货退税”将为 1100 万加拿大人兑现落实有针对性的通货膨胀救助，帮助中低收入的人士和最需要帮助的家庭，符合条件之育有两个孩子的夫妇可额外获得最高 467 元救助； 没有孩子的单身加拿大人最多可额外获得 234元救助； 老年人平均可多获得225元。食品杂货退税将于 2023 年 7 月 5 日通过加拿大税务局直接存款或支票的方式发放给符合条件的加拿大人。
领取“食品杂货退税”的人不需要申请，这笔退税将与 7 月的 GST 退税付款一起发放。但是，如果他们还没有提交 2021 年的纳税申报表，他们将需要在提交之后才能收到救助款。
政策同时为联邦医疗拨款20亿元，以减少积压和等待时间，并支持儿科医院和急诊室。
