魁北克团结党急转弯 将宣誓效忠英国王

魁北克团结党 (QS) 周四（3日）宣布，其 11 名当选议员最终将向英国查理三世国王宣誓，以便他们可以在 11 月 29 日进入省议会。
团结党议会领袖纳多-杜布瓦（Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois）在新闻稿表示，他的政党不赞成宣誓，他认为这一承诺是不必要而且过时。
团结党称将提出一项新法案，使宣誓成为可选项。然而，他们要引入该法案，必须先宣誓效忠英国王室。
省议会议长帕拉迪斯（François Paradis）周二表示，向国王宣誓是强制性的，只能通过法案把它废除。他说如果团结党和魁人党 (PQ) 的当选议员不遵守规定，他们可能会被驱逐出议会厅和委员会会议室。
