魁北克流感及呼吸道病毒或已过高峰 惟这些病例仍在增加

尽管甲型流感或许已过高峰期，呼吸道合胞病毒(RSV)的病例也在继续减少，但是新冠病例还是在继续增加。
魁北克国家公共卫生研究所的最新数据显示，甲型流感的阳性率经过两个月的上升后首次下降。尽管如此，流感病毒仍然传播严重，在过去一周进行的筛查试验中，至少25.1% 的筛查结果呈阳性。虽然低于前一星期的26.8%，下降趋势是否持续还要有待观察。
另一个主要影响儿童的 RSV 传播继续下降。在过去一周进行的筛查测试中，有6.3%检测发现该病毒，这比 11 月初20.1%的峰值大幅下降。
至于缠绕多时的新冠病例仍然存在。在过去一周，10.9%的筛查测试呈阳性。
事实上，魁省周一（12日）最新的新冠疫情报告显示，病例继续增加。周一报告录得748个新病例，使过去7天日均病例达到 1096 例，在过去一周上升了 20%。由于获得PCR检测的机会有限，实际病例数字估计要高得多。
在过去的周末（包括周一）录得21 人死于新冠病毒，使7天计算的日平均值达到10人，在一周内上升了12%。
