魁省餐厅要求向订台没出现顾客收费

魁北克的餐厅呼吁省政府允许他们向不遵守晚餐预订的顾客收费。
这对本地餐饮业长期存在的问题，为了给政府施加更大的压力，代表6千多家餐厅的协会最近写信给魁北克司法部长Simon Jolin-Barrette要求推进这一要求。
魁北克餐厅协会 (ARQ) 的发言人特伦布莱 (Dominique Tremblay)在接受采访时说“费用可能是5元、10元、15元或20元——不是一个大数目。细节尚不清楚，但我们不想收取大笔费用。”
魁北克的餐厅可以使用信用卡号码，但根据魁北克消费者保护法，他们不能对未出现的顾客收费。虽然他们现在已经要求为假日派对等大型团体预订支付押金，但 ARQ 希望修改所有规模预订的法律。
司法部长发言人表示，政府理解餐厅老板面临的“挫败感”，目前正在审查该协会的要求。
“我们希望省民提高警惕，若不打算出现便应该取消预订，我们要互相尊重。”
