蒙特利尔往纽约巴士翻车意外 死者证实为蒙特利尔女子

由蒙特利尔前往纽约的一辆Skyway Coach Lines大型巴士上周五(5日)发生严重意外，造成1死11人伤，纽约州警方周日证实死者为74岁蒙特利尔人。
当地警方的新闻稿说，死者是来自蒙特利尔的74岁女子Jeanne Elzanie Jourdan Colin。
另有一名乘客重伤住院，伤势仍危急。意外中并有10人受轻伤。
意外发生于上周五约下午12时50分，地点为位于Warrensburg及Lake George之间的87号州际公路南行快线上，该巴士行驶途中突然翻滚到路旁。当局称肇祸原因仍在调查。
加拿大环球事务部早前表示已知有两名加拿大人在这起事件中受伤，表示正在跟进「以确认是否有其他加拿大人受伤」。该部门也表示正在向受害者家属提供领事协助。
