年轻男子涉恐吓国会及中国使馆等机构被捕

一名渥太华19岁男子涉嫌在社交媒体对国会、中国驻渥太华大使馆及政府部门发布死亡恐吓被捕。
加拿大皇家骑警表示，渥太华男子候德(Daniel Houde)过去数星期使用Twitter向国会、国防部、美国驻渥太华大使馆及中国驻渥太华大使馆发出了数次“恐怖主义性质的死亡恐吓”。
皇家骑警联同国家安全小组（INSET）进行调查，并迅速锁定候德为嫌疑人及将其拘捕。
INSET表示，所有威胁公共安全的罪行都会被严肃对待，包括社交媒体上的帖文。
候德被控恐怖主义、威胁人身安全及威胁损毁财产等罪名，案件将于1月18日提堂，他目前获有条件释放。
