魁北克男子溺死两名子女 告诉陪审团：不记得自己杀过人

一名魁北克男子于 2022 年 10 月溺死自己的两个孩子，他 2 月 18 日在法庭告诉陪审团，他对孩子死亡的那天没有任何记忆。
阿罗拉（ Kamaljit Arora ）在蒙特利尔北部郊区拉瓦尔市 (Laval) 的谋杀案审判中，连续第二天为自己辩护。
他声称案发当天自己服用了芬太尼，完全不记得在家中溺死了他 13 岁的女儿和 11 岁的儿子。
49 岁的阿罗拉说，他记得在孩子死亡几周后，醒来时发现自己戴着手铐躺在医院里。

他承认造成了两个孩子的死亡，但对两项一级谋杀罪、企图谋杀他的大女儿以及对前妻勒颈的指控一概不认罪。
两名死者的姓名已被禁止公开。
检方已完成举证，试图证明阿罗拉的行为是有预谋的。
阿罗拉告诉陪审团，自 2020 年以来，他一直饱受精神健康问题的困扰，包括严重的抑郁症。
他说在杀人案发生前，购买了芬太尼意图自杀。
