加拿大环境与气候变化部 (ECCC) 发出特别天气预警，大蒙特利尔地区周三 (11 日 ) 至周四可能出现 “ 严重 ” 冻雨。
ECCC 预计冻雨总降雨量将达到 20 至 30 毫米，持续时间可达 24 小时，并可能导致部分服务瘫痪。
ECC 预测降雨后未来几天气温仍将保持寒冷，这可能会使服务全面恢复正常变得更加困难和延迟。交通可能会出现延误和取消，路面结冰会增加滑倒和受伤的风险。 ”

可能受影响的地区十分广泛，包括大蒙特利尔、 Montérégie 、 Outaouais 、 Laurentians 、 Lanaudière 、 Mauricie 、 Centre-du-Québec 和魁北克市。
ECCC 指冰层堆积会增加树枝断裂的风险，并促请民众考虑推迟或取消任何非必要的出行。 ”
