蒙特利尔老城区一栋大楼 2023 年 3 月 16 日发生火灾，造成 7 人死亡，至今已过去三年，但仍无人被起诉。
检察官办公室和蒙特利尔警方均表示，刑事调查仍在进行中，他们正努力尽快向公众公布相关信息。
2023 年 3 月 16 日，一场大火席卷老城区一栋历史建筑，造成 7 人死亡，其中 6 人当时居住在非法短期出租的单位内。
警方表示在现场发现了助燃剂的痕迹，这或许可以解释火势为何在整栋大楼内迅速蔓延。
在另一起案件的法庭文件中，贝甘 (Denis Bégin) 被列为嫌疑人，他目前因 1993 年的一起谋杀案正在服无期徒刑。
加拿大惩教署的文件援引蒙特利尔警方的证词称，贝甘在火灾发生前后都曾出现在大楼附近，并被监控摄像头拍到。
