在告别 2024 年的时候，加拿大环境部周五 (27 日 ) 向蒙特利尔地区发布连串特殊天气预报。
周五早上，环境部向蒙特利尔发布了雾霾警告。该气象机构表示，这将特别影响 “ 哮喘儿童和患有呼吸道疾病或心脏病的人。因此，建议这些人在雾霾警告解除之前，避免在户外进行剧烈的身体活动。 ”
与此同时，凌晨 4:46 发布的特殊天气预报警告说， “ 来自美国南部的主要天气系统将于周日抵达魁北克。从周六晚上到周日，一阵冻雨或降雨可能会影响圣劳伦斯河谷 (St. Lawrence Valley) 。 ”
该声明指出， “ 预计直至周一将有大量降雨和融雪。高速公路、道路、人行道和停车场等路面可能会结冰和打滑。 “
