担忧流感爆发加剧 魁省卫生部敦促民众严防

魁省卫生部表示，尽管普通感冒病例正在稳定下来，但是随着本周学生逐渐返校，情况可能会迅速改变。
流感的明显症状包括发烧、头痛、肌肉疼痛、咳嗽和喉咙痛。
舒尔曼医生 (Dr. Mitch Shulman) 说，如果一个人出现痛楚但可以忍受的症状，很可能只是重感冒。
他说： “ 你可能会发烧，但体温不会太高。你会鼻塞，可能会打喷嚏和咳嗽，但不会感到胸痛，也不会呼吸急促。你的肌肉会感到轻微的酸痛。 ”
卫生当局建议患者不要进行不必要的就诊，因为除非患者有既往疾病，否则医生很可能只会给他们开泰诺 (Tylenol) 。
但舒尔曼医生提醒说： “ 如果患者年龄很小，或者有糖尿病、肾病、心脏病或肺病等潜在健康问题，这些人可能需要尽早去诊所或急诊室就诊，或者至少拨打 811 卫生热线。 ”
