加拿大自由党3月9日举行党魁选举 接替杜鲁多

加拿大总理杜鲁多 1 月 6 日宣布辞去执政党自由党党魁后，该党 9 日表示将会于 3 月 9 日选出新党魁。
自由党全国董事会 9 日晚上举行会议，讨论党魁选举安排。会后声明提到，在 1 月 27 日或之前入党人士将拥有投票权；而有意角逐党魁的人将需要缴交 35 万加元 “ 入场费 ” 。
消息人士指，两位前财长方慧兰（
Chrystia Freeland
）及卡尼（
Mark Carney
）料将参与竞选，至于外长赵美兰（
Melanie Joly
）和创新、科学及工业部部长商鹏飞（
Francois-Philippe Champagne
）则尚未决定。
自由党表示，投票结果会在 3 月 9 日公布，新党魁将会准备带领该党出战并胜出大选。加拿大民众普遍不满物价高涨及房屋供应不足，导致自由党的民意调查支持度明显落后于在野党，外界普遍预计保守党将有很大机会胜出大选，自 2015 年再次上台。
