蒙特利尔今年首例致命交通意外 女子被半挂卡车撞死

蒙特利尔周二 (7 日 ) 晚上发生今年首例致命交通意外，一名 40 岁女子在 Lachine 区被一辆半挂卡车撞死。
紧急救援员于周二下午 6 点左右到达 1st 街与 Montreal-Toronto 大道交叉口现场时，女受害者已经昏迷躺在地上。
她随后被送往医院，并被宣布死亡。
据报在发生碰撞前，卡车在红灯处停了下来，受害者当时正处于主干道的两条车道之间。据 警方称，死者显然是在交通恢复时被撞的。
警方并表示尚未找到肇事的半挂卡车司机。
但警方称目前没有证据表明这是一起肇事逃逸事件。当局解释说目前不能够排除司机在下雪的情况下可能不知道撞死人。
警方将会寻找更多目击者和查看附近的监控摄像头以确认事发经过。
