魁北克承诺将迅速应对美国关税措施

美国总统特朗普周一 (3 日 ) 签署行政命令，宣布 3 月 4 日 ( 周二 ) 起向加会大及墨西哥货品征收 25% 关税，加拿大已经宣布采取反制措施，魁省省长勒戈 (François Legault) 亦承诺将会迅速应对。
魁省省长勒戈表示他担心贸易战可能会导致魁北克在未来六个月内失去 16 万个职位，远远超过起初估计的 10 万个。
勒戈并透露，渥太华正在考虑增加就业保险，以帮助因为关税政策而失业的人。
安省省长福特 (Doug Ford) 也再次提出直接切断向美国输送的电力供应的可能性，这一想法也得到了勒戈的支持。
勒戈政府将于今天举行特别内阁会议，以迅速为受影响最严重的企业提供经济支援。
然后，在今年春天的预算案，魁北克投资局 (Investissement Québec) 将拨款帮助企业在美国以外地方实现出口市场的多元化。
然而，勒戈承认这些紧急援助可能会导致赤字激增。
为了抵消关税影响，魁省计划启动大型建设项目，特别是扩大魁北克水电局 (Hydro-Québec) 的产电能力。
勒戈还表示将加快建设医院、道路、交通和学校的计划。
