卡尼周五宣誓接任加拿大总理 外界關注上台後如何處理與中美關係

接替杜鲁多成为执政自由党党魁的卡尼 (Mark Carne ，图 ) ，将于周五 (14 日 ) 在渥太华丽志堂 (Rideau Hall) 举行的仪式上宣誓就任加拿大第 24 任总理。
银行家出身的卡尼日前高票当选自由党党魁，根据总督府办公室的日程安排，执政九年多的总理杜鲁多周五会先向总督递交辞呈，之后总督西蒙同日早上会在总督府主持仪式，届时卡尼宣誓就任加拿大总理，新阁员亦同日宣誓。
彭博社报道，新内阁规模可能由目前杜鲁多政府 37 人，大幅减至十多人。而外交部长乔美兰 (Melanie Joly) 、财政部长勒布朗 (Dominic LeBlanc) 和创新、科学及工业部长商鹏飞 (Francois-Philippe Champagne) 仍然会是内阁要员。
外界关注卡尼上台后如何处理中美两个大国关系，中方将于下周四起，对加拿大部分货品加征百分百关税，以回应加方对中国部分产品加征关税。卡尼亦批评美国特朗普政府加征关税，是试图削弱加拿大经济，扬言不会让对方得逞。
最新民调显示，保守党与自由党支持度的距离已收窄至仅相差一个百分点。众多媒体预料卡尼上任后将提早在春季举行大选。
