美国要向进口汽车征收 25% 关税，若加拿大实施反关税报复，魁北克消费者将会受到严重影响。
加拿大人购买的汽车中约有 40% 来自美国，即使渥京不实施反关税，消费者也应该预计汽车价格在未来几周会上涨。
魁北克汽车经营商协会 (CCAQ) 首席执行官 Ian P. Sam Yue Chi 表示： “ 由于美国汽车部分采用墨西哥、加拿大和亚洲的零部件制造，而特朗普政府将对这些零部件征税，因此出口到加拿大或魁北克的汽车价格将上涨约 12% 。 ”
例如，一辆售价 10 万元的 F-150 卡车，可能会在未来几周或几个月内上涨到 11.2 万元。如果渥太华决定对进口美国汽车征收反关税，汽车价格将进一步上涨。
Chi 指出，经销商目前有大量库存，因此消费者仍有可能暂时避免潜在的价格上涨。
不过，美国消费者同样也要支付更高的汽车价格，华尔街分析师估计，当地新车的平均价格可能会上涨 10% 。
