遭语言办公室投诉 蒙特利尔公车急删除加拿大人冰球队“英文”打气标语

由于收到魁北克法语办公室 (OQLF) 的投诉，蒙特利尔公交局 (STM) 急删除为加拿大人冰球队 (Montreal Canadiens) 打气的英文标语，并更改为法语版本。
公交局表示在收到 OQLF 的投诉后，要将原来英文版本的打气标语 “Go Habs Go!”( 加拿大人队加油！ ) 更改为法语版 “Allez, Canadiens Allez!” 。
公交局解释道，新的措辞保留了团队精神，同时也符合第 14 号法例（也称为第 94 号法案）。 ”
该法案被认为是加强、保护和推广魁省法语的一项重要立法。
其影响范围从医疗延伸到教育网络，包括限制英语 CEGEP 课程的入学人数。
它还影响到商业招牌、魁省新移民可享受的服务，并限制在法庭和其他公共机构中使用英语。
公交局周四还证实说，在去年收到 OQLF 的投诉后，他们也决定修改公车上为蒙特利尔足球队 “Go! CF MTL Go!” 的英语打气标语。
公交局指出，从去年夏末开始，他们必须手动更改每辆车上的信息。修改工作耗时数月才完成。
